Burn" Health Fair will be held at the Advance Gym 365 from 10am to 2pm. This Health Fair is sponsored by TNL 24-7.com and is meant to raise awareness about the WFUBMC Burn Center. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE EVENT WILL BE DONATED TO THE BURN CENTER. Numerous vendors will be on site to promote better health and give away prizes. Prizes include: a Mini Cooper for a weekend, gym memberships, a free massage, karate lessons and
many other door prizes.
Congratulations to everyone who "Made It To Myrtle Beach" at Gym 365 this summer! We have given out gift certificates for tanning at The Palms Tanz for our winners to enjoy. The Davie High School girls' volleyball team will participate in Play for the Cure "Pink Volleyball Match" on Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 when they go to Mt. Tabor. Both teams will wear Play for the Cure t-shirts instead of jerseys. Anyone wearing a "Play for the Cure" t-shirts to the match on the 30th will be admitted free. Davie is also sponsoring a silent auction at the match, and have many great items, including free one month gym memberships, one year silver membership to the Proehlific Park sports facility in Greensboro valued at $920.00, orthotics from Advance Custom Foot, spa baskets, and gift certificates, a chocolate basket, etc. All proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Between games 2 and 3 at the match, a "serving for prizes" event will be held. Fans will be able to pay $1.00 to serve and try to hit prizes to win on the other side of the net. They will also have shirts available at the match on sale for $20.00 with the following sayings: "fight like a girl" "fight for the girls" or "worth fighting for" (in pink letters with the pink breast cancer awareness ribbon on each).
Now that school has started back, we look forward to seeing everyone settle back into their routines and get back to the gym! If you need some help achieving your fitness goals, PLEASE LET US KNOW! We want all our members to get the most benefit possible out of their Gym 365 membership. You can drop us a note in the suggestion box, speak with a staff member in person or send us an e-mail.
We have Gym 365 T-shirts and shorts on sale for $10.00. If we don't have the size or color you need, please see a staff member and we can place a special order for you. As colder days approach, we will order long-sleeved shirts and hoodies.
